Do you love the tradition of watching fireworks in front of the Capitol building as a part of the Springfield Jaycees Capital City Celebration? This year we are pleased to continue this tradition by setting off fireworks in partnership with DSI on the 4th of July thanks to a continued sponsorship from Arch Coal Viper Mine. Follow the Levitt AMP Springfield July 4th Facebook event for more information. There will also be food trucks for you to enjoy this family friendly event on the Y Block near the Governor’s Mansion.

Our Events

5pm Patriotic Dog Pageant, sponsored by Parkway Vet Clinic, at 4th and Jackson (Y Block), registration starts at 4:30pm. Entry fee $10, $5 for each addition dog from same owner. Twenty dog limit. The Pageant will benefit Camp New Hope.

9:30pm Fireworks, sponsored by Arch Coal Viper Mine
